Multiple Myeloma, what is and what is the death rate?

Ok. I know it is cancer. But i want to know more info about it. It has a cure? Can the treatment cure the person?, is irreversible? what is the death rate for this cancer? How long a person can live with it? etc. thanks.

ps. my step father has it, so is not for a homework/. PLZ be truly sincere with me, any links will be apreciated.

Check out the IMF--the International Myeloma Foundation
They have great information, and really help patient learn about treatment options.

www.myeloma.org

here's some info. also use google to try and find a cancer website from your coutnry, so they'll have relevant information on death and survival rates for you.

hope your step dad gets well
