Rythmic Movement Disorder? |
I have Rythmic Movement Disorder. This is where you have some kind of movement like rolling or head banging before you fall asleep. The thing is, usually this occurs in children under the age of five. When they reach the age of five, it usually stops. Well for me, it hasn't stopped and I'm almost 17. Does anyone know why I haven't stopped yet or any health sites I can go to, to read up on it? best place to find out info is your doctor or the hospital where the consultant told you this is the condition you have. ...or your foot suddenly kicking? Rhythmic Movement Disorder? Haven't you noticed the trend in the medical profession to attach the word "disorder" to just about anything but breathing? Unless this goes on all night, depriving you of sleep, I wouldn't worry about it, and I certainly wouldn't let them push a drug on me. I haven't seen the commercial yet, but I just can't wait to hear the list of side effects. |
