Wheres the best place to go to get help for an eating disorder? |
well i have read what you all think about eating disorders.all of you think i have one.not eating in a mouth or eating very little.that damn scell i have to be thin.in my head i have to be perfect.ive been thinking.... yes i need help.but i dont know where to get help?my D.R dus not lisin to me.what if i go and thay say i look fine?im not to thin?then what? it would help me out if you cud give me some feedback..i want to beat this. If your doctor won't listen, find someone who will. Talk to a parent or a trusted adult in your life (teacher/guidance counsellor) about your disorder and tell them that you want help. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, look up your local mental health centre or see if you can find an eating disorders clinic in your area. Even calling a crisis line would be helpful in locating resources to help you beat this. A drill sergeant and an all you eat buffet. Like in the military, he would yell at you to eat, eat, eat. well usually people who have eating disorders are forced to go away cause they dont think they have a problem. So its good that oyu know you have a problem. So if you want help all you really have to do is eat, because all they do at those places if force feed you by sticking ivs and crap in you, that is only if you are not willing to eat, but they woudl probably have gtroups and junk every day. SO this my advice since you know you have a problem start trying to eat regulary observe how your freinds eat and try to pick up a healthy eatting pattern, becuase trust me you don;t want to get sent away eat for god sake |
