Talking to myself uncontrollably?

When I am alone I have this overwhelming tendency to shout out that something along the lines of "i suck", "i am a loser", and other, worse self-destructive comments. I am depressed and an insomniac, but i really have no idea what to do to stop these strange outbursts which can sometimes take the form of screams. i am a reasonable person, and i know that this isnt normal behavior. i do not want to shout out, it simply seems to happen like something in my head is just going straight to my mouth. is this is sign of any disorder that any of your are familiar with? my own self-consciousness seems to keep this latent in public.

Could be Tourette's syndrome. Go and see your doctor and/or a Psycologist if it is really bothering you.

Don't be afraid, these people are there to help you.

mabey you have teretes symdrome
sorry for the spelling

It sounds like tourettes syndrome.

Possibly you are mentally using this as a motivating factor to try and improve. Everyone has a strategy, conscious or subconscious they utilize.

I do not think the talking is as bad as what you are saying. Possibly you are not allowing yourself enough enjoyment from life, or maybe you're enjoying too much and just not setting goals very well.

It sounds like some form of psychosis. I think you need to see your doctor.
peace
