Can you treat borderline personality disorder?

It is very difficult to have BPD, you say things you don't mean to say, you become evil to others outside and inside your circle. I struggle every day to maintain my stability and control over this issue. I go to therapy every other week. But still it does not help all the time. I become someone else when I get into an episode and regret later what was said or done or how I treated someone. Its very painful having this disorder you feel afraid all the time that you will be hurt. You feel the world would be better off without you. I just wake up every day and say "today is going to be a good day" and I try to live by that. There is so much I do not understand; like why I can't control my mouth and thoughts...that should stay thoughts. Such sadness because you are afraid of being social that you will say something ridcules (and you always do). This existense is lonely...but I have two things in my life that keep me going my daughter and my Bessie she's 14yrs old (a cat), my meds.

Borderline Personality Disorder is treatable. Whether or not it is curable is a different matter. I believe that it is, but that is based on an experiment of one. I think that I have, in the past, met all of the diagnostic criteria for that disorder, but, I think that I no longer do.
Don't give up. And, for what it's worth, BPO people are people, and can be lovable.

Have you heard of Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)? 4 modules: core mindfulness skills, emotion regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness skills and distress tolerance skills.
Pharmacotherapy may be helpful for coexisting mood, eating, and anxiety Disorders. Valproate or SSRIs may be helpful for impulsive-aggressive behavior

lots and lots therapy including cognitive witch helps your thinking.
