The motion sickness wrist watch - Does it work?

From MythBusters and what not I have found out that ginger seems to be a pretty popular method to avoid motion sickness. But has anyone heard of this motion sickness wrist watch? If so, have you used it and does it work? Here's a link if you've never heard of it: http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/gadgetbuzz/...

I'd like to hear some opinions of people who have used this with great results and also other alternatives to prevent motion sickness.

My friend uses them all the time. She doens't have a watch, per se. It's more like those old 80's sweatbands. It works by applying pressure to a point on your wrists (it doesn't hurt). My friend swears by them.

An alternative would be ginger to settle your stomach.

The FDA has actually tested it, so my guess is that it does work. My cousin's bought one for my Aunt who get motion sickness flying home to Central America. She doesn't leave until next month, so sorry, can't tell you if it works yet.
