Motion sickness on yaht? |
my senior prom will be on a yaht this year. i am very excited but my stomach tends to be a bit sensitive and i dont want to get motion sickness. i dont think i will, the yaht only goes down the "harbor?" and not the actual ocean but still. i dont want the night to be ruined! should i take non drowsy dramamine or any other suggestions? ive been on a small boat in a river and felt ok. hm... You should be fine without anything. A yacht large enough for a prom is pretty stable anyway, and there is not usually a lot of motion on any size boat in a harbor. It sounds lovely. Have fun! You can take a dramamine or scopalomine prophylactic to hopefully insure against sea sickness. And if it doesn't work, you figure an evening of nausea could be worth a night of ecstacy afterward if that's how it goes. Just don't vomit on your partner. Yes, take non-drowsy Dramamine, Boniva, or those acupressure wrist bands. Also if you start to feel nauseous, don't drink alcohol...watch the horizon & inhale & exhale with shifting of yaucht. |
