how do you prevent or help prevent from getting mosquito bites In some areas, mosquito or Mozzies as we call them can be in a plague condition. To try and reduce Mozzies around your house, get rid of any stagnant water that may be lying around in pots etc as mozzies breed in water. When I was a kid my mom always made us take Vitamin B1 for two weeks before we went camping. It has a really nasty metallic smell and it's supposed to make you smell the same way to the bugs so they won't be attracted to you. I don't remember if it worked that well (I just remember it tasted nasty!) but you could try it. sleep in a mosquito net |
