Mosquito bites...?

All of the sudden, every time I get a mosquito bite, it gets so swollen and itches a lot! Before it used to itch but not to get this big and red. Could it be that my blood sugar is too high? Or maybe a lack of a vitamin? please advise!

No it is because you are allergic to them, not everyone get swollen bite spots but when you do it is cause you are allergic.

With repeated mosquito bites, some people begin to become insensitive again, much as if they had allergy shots. Some older children and adults get no reaction to mosquito bites (unless they go for a long time without being bitten -- then the process can start again). Other people become increasingly allergic with repeated stings. They can develop blistering, bruised, large inflammatory reactions. For these people, avoiding being bitten is a particularly good idea.

try some baking powder and vinegar to ease the dicomfort. thats what i put on a ll my stings. it helps.
As for vitamin deficiancy, im not sure about that maybe though.
i test mine with a meter. ask your doctor;

Dude...you're "f"ed. I think by now, the mosquito that bit you is probably mutating into some monster using your blood as its starting point. Whatever you do...don't go to sleep with that mosquito in your bedroom...I hear they'll try body-snatching. Good luck!

The swelling, redness, and itching is an allergic reaction to something in the mosquitoes bite. It has nothing to do with blood sugar or vitamins.
When a mosquito bites you, it injects an anticoagulant, a compound that prevents your blood from clotting in their mouth parts and gut. It causes your blood to flow freely.
The anticoagulant is first injected into your skin, then the mosquito sucks it back with your blood.
If the mosquito was been resting on grass, tree leaves, or anything with pollen or allergens before it bit you, a small residue of allergens will be injected into your skin too.
Try taking an antihistamine like Benedryl. You can rub it on the bite too. There are products on the market that can reduce the itching or swelling.
See your doctor for help.

.

you are allergic to mosquito bites. you should try an anti-itch cream, like Cortaid. apply it directly to the bite. this should help with the swelling and the itchy-ness.

last year I took b-2 vitamin and could tell I had alot less bites

The mosquito injects a small amount of saliva/anticoagulant into your skin when it bites you. You are developing an allergy to this substance. An over the counter nondrowsy antihistamine like loridatine-claritin or similar antihistamine will help. The mosquito's bite causes the blood vessels in the area to contract, trapping the venom in the local area. Hot packs or a heating pad to the area for 30-60 minutes will dilate the blood vessels and wash out the venom fast, to reduce itching. A warm bath will also work.
