Why am I the only person in my house to get bit by mosquitos? My Hubby tells me its because I'm sweet . I use skin-so-soft from avon and it will also keep away chiggers,tick and gnats. Also Hubby bought a Misquito Deleto it helps. He put it in the yard and can also get smaller ones at wal-mart. Hope I helped you out . We all need it once in awhile GOOD LUCK TOO YOU !!! Remind everyone to keep the doors shut and the screens on the windows. Skeeters are attracted to sweat & breath. We all have different chemistry & there isn't much we can do about that lol. Don't feel bad, I am also a walking magnet but I'm outdoors sooo much I've just learned to live with it, I don't like using pesticides on my skin (nothing like dying from cancer vrs. west nile huh? LOL) I have heard that they are also attracted to light colored clothing so it is recommended to wear dark colors (tho they say exact opposite to protect your skin from sun lol) can't win for losing :) Would a child eat a healthy meal or an ice cream cone? You must taste sweeter! It also depends on what soaps you might use, as well as perfumes. Even if you don't have any on that day, you still have it on your skin. I am a redhead and I am always getting bit. I think they see the freckles like landing zones or something. Oderless Garlic..... Do you eat alot of sweets? Even if it's fruits anything sweet you eat will attract them, also if you use body lotion with fuit fragrance on them , that will also attract the mosquitos. There is a couple of things you can do as well, you can purchase garlic vitamins and take them and it's actually healthy for you but at the same time it will limit the mosquitos attacking you, and also another thing you can try as well is to keep a few match tips in your mouth as well, you might look a little silly but hey, it will also help because they don't like that stuff that is made of on the match tips,,, ( i forgot what it is called that it is made of). To help stop the itching use white vinger on your bites and that will help with the itching. |
