Mosquito bites!? |
Im off to Majorca in a month or so which is cool. However, last time I went I got bitten loads whilst my girlfriend did not. She said she had taken something a few weeks before that repels bugs...... Does anyone know of such a substance? ask her what she took Try Clarityn. You just take one a day. I usually start taking them a week before and then one each day I am away. They don't repel the bugs but they tend to stop you reacting to the bites. I think it's Vitamin B (you should check with a pharmacist) that's supposed to repell them. Or try garlic capsules - they don't like this either. I just read a ruling by the FDA that said the vitamin B-1 has long been thought to help in repeling insects, but that that is completely false. The only other thing I can think of is garlic tablets. start eating garlic The quinine in tonic water is supposed help repel mossies, so a healthy diet of G and T before you go! Hi could be vitamin E but this not stop the Mosquitos Try Drink plenty of Gin and Tonic. The quinnine aleviates the symptoms. Jungle Formula insect repellent, if it works in equatorial Africa, it will work in Majorca. |

Start taking vitamin B, it's not going to help now but in the future it'll stop bites from happening.
