Mosquito bites or allergic reaction? |
last night i was outside for like the entire night at my friends house in his gazebo and when i woke up this morning i noticed a bunch of red dots on my legs. and now they are bumps that look just like mosquito bites and they itch just like them... the thing is last night i always repeatedly covered myself with mosqutio spray and only remember being bitten a few times. but there are so many, especially all over the back of my legs. are these really just mosquito bites or some sort of reaction? (i am not allergic to anything that i know of) It sounds like bites. If you look at them very closely you should be able to see a small point where the stinger went in. If you don't see that it may be hives. But it really does sound like bites Fleas? An allergic reaction would most likely cover a much larger area, and bring about many many more spots or hives. Since you mentioned the backs of your legs, I'd have to guess that you just got bit a ton of times....mosquitoes tend to attack softer areas, and the backs of the legs are the most common. |
