Are mosquito bites bad to my health/ where I get bitten?

I live in Florida, and I get bitten by mosquitos a lot. I am wondering, will my legs (I get bitten there, usually) skin suffer because of this? do mosquito bites leave poison in my system that accumalates? What about diseases? I am looking for specific info, not just what I know that I am already feeling.
