Mosquito bites got me scared advice?

i have about 20 mosquito bites on me and im afraid im going to get triple E or the west nile virus.

does anyone have any advice on symptons, anyone you no who has had it, or any other info on stuff like this

GREETINGS, where do you live? is there any activity of the virus's near you? The odds are you will be ok, if you feel flu symptoms or run a fever within the next week I would see a dr immediately.

I live in southwest Louisiana and in 2005,just before Hurricane Rita we had left our home to go further north to get away from the storm. After it ended the area we were in had been hit hard and was without electricity for several days. I had got bitten several times during the night. Within 3 days I began to feel sick as though I was getting the flu. I went to the Dr. because I felt sooo bad. I had a fever, rash in patches on my body, headache, poor concentration and trouble with memory, the light hurt my eyes, upset stomach, vomiting,sore throat, my whole body hurt just like with the flu, weakness/ extreme exhaustion but no cough and cold or runny nose part. 3wks and several perscripitons of antibiotics later, I tested positive for West Nile. I was so exhausted I couldn't cook, shop, or even ride in the car if I really didnt have to. I even needed help to take a bath. It took me a long time to recover. I had been in bed for 2yrs. Just since this past Janurary Ive been able to manage to go shopping, but I use the store scooter. I still get exhausted easily and need to rest frequently. I run from mosquitos now too!

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I worked in the lab for a County that treats mosquitoes and, the probability of you getting anything like this is extremely low although you should think about it when going out of doors where there's a population of mosquitoes.
Wear clothing that covers most of your skin, use something like 'Deet" especially around all your clothes openings. Don't use colognes or perfumes around these areas.
If at all possible, stay in at night. Make sure your screens are O.K. and keep the doors closed at night.

Only certain mosquitoes carry these illnesses and you can check with your local health department to see what's going on in your area with these diseases. I'm sure they have a pamphlet for these diseases also.
