Serious question: Is there a way to *intentionally* get mononucleosis? |
Seriously...ridicule me if you must, but at least write something... If you want to stay out of the workforce, don't get mono. Get fibromyalgia. No tests will confirm it and you get a check. Not for very much, but you get the same as any disability. And by the way, I think you're pathetic. Geez, why don't you fake something. I had mono in college and putting up with work is better than putting up with mono. And it's not going to get you on disability so if you're wanting time off with pay you're going to have to do better than that unless you have six months worth of sick time saved up. Honestly, you've probably already contracted Epstein Barr Virus and never known it. The virus only causes the symptoms of "mono" in adults. In children, however, it only causes a mild common cold like illness. Most of humankind gets it at this age and never remembers it. The virus is interesting in that you never actually get rid of it. It is in the same class as herpes viruses so it remains latent in your system. It is much rarer to have a reversion to illness from this virus, but it can occasionally happen. Sorry, but you should probably think of something else :-( |
