What are negative and positive feedback of infectious mononucleosis?

Homeostatic Imbalance, Mononucleosis

I cannot think of one positive thing about this illness. It is the pits! My son was hospitalized for 4 days because of it. It is not just a "normal" let it run its course illness. It can be very dangerous.

I guess if you want something positive - once you have had mono, it is unlikely that you will get it again.

Negative is you can get extremely ill, your spleen can burst and you can die if you do not get treated with antibiotics.
Positive is once you get mono and it runs its course, which may in fact take up to a year completely, YOU NEVER GET IT AGAIN.
Hope this helps.

I know, I had mono, severe mono.
