Mononucleosis (Mono) Symptoms? |
How do you know if you have mono, for sure? I have searched websites an got a blood test but it hasn't come back yet? I am experiencing a runny nose, sore/hoarse throat, weakness, dizziness, loss of apetite, and fatigue. How do I make these symptoms go away if I don't have mono. I had it in high school. I guess I should be saying got it because once you've contracted it it lives dorment in your body for the rest of your life and can reoccur at any time. I remember being very tired, had an enlarged spleen, and white nasty stuff would just fall from my throat at any time causing me to get chocked (gross). I must say that I've never really been the same and go through periods of extreme fatigue from time to time. Hope it's not the same for you. They also didn't so a test for me, just diagnosed me based on my symptoms. Hope this helps. Symptoms usually appear 4-6 weeks after exposure to infected other, and may resemble strep throat, or other bacterial or viral respiratory infections. |
