I had Mononucleosis 6 months ago and the Lymph nodes in my neck are still really swollen. Is this normal??

I had really bad Mono, where my throat was swollen shut. I have been getting better slowly.

Outlook (Prognosis)
The fever usually drops in 10 days, and swollen lymph glands and spleen heal in 4 weeks. Fatigue usually goes away within a few weeks, but may linger for 2 to 3 months.
6 months seems like a very long time for the mono symptoms to last..I would go in for a follow up. Sounds like you had a sever case.
One good thing is once you've had mononucleosis, your body is immune from getting a recurrence.

Oh yeah, that's a long lasting disease that really whips you for a long time.
