I have mononucleosis, with a sinus infection, and I cant breathe at night. What can I do to help me sleep? You can irrigate, moisturize and clean out the works just before bed without extra medicine. you can get an over the counter nose spray to use at night to lubricate your nostrils but with sinus infection you should get a prescibed spray from your Dr sleep w/ pillows propping your head up so you back is straight for easy breathing. But make sure your head is not propped up so much that your chin is touching your neck... that will just give you a cramp in your neck. If you have mono, you should really be talking to your doctor. I had mono in my teens, and it was nothing to play with. If you take somebody's advice from a source like this website, at least make sure to let your dr. know what you are doing. Good luck and get well soon. |
