Moles that feel rough?

I have a mole on shoulder,it hasn't changed shape or got bigger, always had it,but I have noticed it feels dry little rough,I did alot of sunbathing last November for 2 weeks in Egypt.Has anyone else had this happen to their moles, maybe its just dry skin, any answers please?

Any change in a mole should be checked out, not just bigger or a change in shape. You should also get a change in colour or texture or if it feels lumpy checked out. Moles do get dry and it probably just needs moisturising but you should get it checked just to be on the safe side.

Yes, have had happen, was fine. Regardless, should get a skin cancer check at lonce/yr.

I would get it checked out anyway. I had one on the side of my right boob. It looked like cauliflower for years, and one day me and my partner were play fighting and he rubbed it and it turned white. I saw my GP and had it removed and it came back ok. It is worth getting them checked. (My dad used to call it my beauty spot, so a little disappointed that it has gone)

Aslong as your mole doesn't start weeping, I think that you should use some moistureiser on it. Contact your GP if it's not better after a few days, sooner if it weeps.
