Getting moles removed? |
hey..i have 2 moles on my face and i would like to get them removed. does anyone know how much and is their any problems like if i will scarred for life by it or somthing? I dont want a big mole on my face or a scar so anything? Normally the scars are very small. As long as you don't get Keyloid scars you are fine. My mom had two off on her face as ayoung adult and I don't even see a scar at all. I had two off on my back. I was awake for the whole thing and didn't really feel anything. No biggie! Good luck. I have a mole on my face and my dad wants to remove it when I am a bit older. We have consulted the skin therapist and he said that he would freeze it off for about 70-80 bucks per mole. My dad said I am too young right now and he is scared that it will affect me if I removed it right now. I don't know what kind of problems, though. You could go ask the doctor & see how much it cost. It might scar I have had 5 very large ones removed from my back, only one scarred bad. The reason it did scarr is because I accidently popped the stiches. I don't think it should be a problem ask your derm about before hand. Well my brother got his removed and he said that you can't feel it when it happens. It is a simple laser removal treatment. No worries :D for the best results, its worth seeing a plastic surgeon if only for a consultation.they have the specialised training in moles (well if ur in the uk ) and can advise on best removal methods.also if they do remove them, they'll use the teeniest, tiniest stitches barely visible to the eye.( if of course surgery is the best way to do it for you.)it may be cryotherapy(freezing) or laser . Always have something like done with a plastic surgeon! I have had quite a few moles removed, some on my face. there are several procedures used, the most common are freezing or burning the small ones and local anesthetic with scalpel removal for large ones, neither one is painful, but you feel a slight sensation in the area worked on. |
