Does being overweight have anything to do with moles?

Okay... maybe this is a silly question and a lame observation... but I remember when I was younger (around 15, I guess), I would notice overweight, older women would have ghastly moles across their neck and shoulders. I always told myself that if I ever got moles like that, I'd do something about it. As luck would have it, I'm now 22 years old, overweight, and tiny moles are appearing on my shoulders (I have on on my neck -- but I've had that one all my life). Does being overweight have anything to do with getting moles? One website I read said that there's no big concern about getting "new" moles, unless you're over 30. Another site warned of melanoma. But I'm wondering if there's any connection between being overweight (and the hormone imbalance that excessive fat can cause) and getting moles. Thanks, all!

one thing I've noticed over the years it that breaking or cutting moles bleed for a long time. I have a cindy crawford mole only closer to my nose and it gets cut at times shaving and bleeds forever!

also it's not a good idea to use bleach on open wounds, you never know the pH level of the bleach and even if it contains hydrogen peroxide or other peroxide based chemicals, peroxide has only a marginal effect in disinfecting open wounds. and if you use the wrong bleach it can burn your skin and would not feel good in an open wound! use rubbing alcohol.

not related. skin tags or "new moles" are frequently caused by viruses, but who knows?
i would take 1 neem leaf or bark capsule per day and 1 turmeric capsule per day (with food). If the new moles are caused by a virus they will stop. And I would remove the existing ones. I think you can do it with dental floss (tie a knot around each one) or even clean fingernail clippers (dip in bleach first).
