Moles on my face?

i have about 7 moles on my face and my doctor wont let me get them removed becouse he said they are not cancerous ,but i hate them on my face they make me look so ugly.i dunnow hat to do about them.

You need to see a plastic surgeon. They would be more apt to do removal for cosmetic reasons.

It is quite common to have several small moles on the face and it is usually disctated by genetics.

just accept the way you look, your friends don't accept you for your looks, they accept you for the way your personality is.

i would see another doctor.

If you remove a mole, it will leave a scar. So you need to think carefully: scars or moles? Maybe just accept them? At least be happy they are not cancerous, like one of my moles was.

find out how much it is to have them privately removed or see another doctor for a second opinion telling him/her they're making you feel really depressed.
don't see why your doctor said that to you, my sis in law had one near her chin, it wasn't cancerous and her doctor removed it.

Try joining them up with an eye pencil.

Go to a dermatologists, he will understand more and possibly do a more precise job at removing IE: less scarring. Moles tend to get bigger as we age, the sooner you do it the better. If it will make you feel better about yourself, by all means have it done!
I have one on my cheek bone I hate too, so I understand!

My daughter has a mole on her face she is 12 ,i am just waiting for her to start getting self conscious about it ,i have a big mole on my neck and i hate it ,go back to your doctor or try and see a lady doctor and tell her how you feel ,i am sure they dont make you look ygly ,everybody that knows you know that is a part of you ,but if its making you so happy go back to doctors and tell them how un happy you are good luck.

what do you mean moles as in beauty spots or moles as in what enrique iglesias had on his cheek?
if they are anything like enrique's and that big, then yes you should definitely try and get them removed, although it's totally upto you.
if they are beauty spots and they do not protrude from your face, then you should keep them. if you had none on your face.... then would it make you a better person? would it change your personality. all in all, its totally up to you... but remember its the person inside that counts.
ps if you wanted them removed, then there are plenty of adverts you can check about laser removal and plastic surgery in your local paper!

edit details: listen to elise! she's nice.

unfortunately the doctors wont remove them unless there is a medical problem! The only way they might be rmoved is if you see a plastic surgeon which will cost alot of money ! Dont worry too much its natural and there your own unique markings no one will think any less of you for having them, not genuine nice people any way !

you have the right to remove it especially if you have money, you can run to the trusted dermatology clinic near you. then you will have a better look the way you want it. its in the fashion now a days to be vanity conscious. right???

I had mine removed because they kept getting scratched by my nails when I was washing, doing make up etc. It was just cosmetic cos they werent cancerous, just a nuisance. They gave me the choice of having them skimmed (just levelled with the rest of the skin) in which case they may grow again, or completely removed. I had them completely removed. i wish now Id just had them skimmed cos the 'small' 'unnoticeable' scars make me feel ten times more self conscious than the moles ever did. So i guess its a choice between the lesser of two evils, moles or scars! But - my sister had hers removed and has the tiniest unnoticeable scar. So i think its a lottery! Not much help, Im sorry

I had three massive ones, on the back of my neck, throat and cheek respectively. The one on my neck I had removed when I was a teenager (I told the doctor is was becoming irritating when I played rugby). The ones on my throat and cheek I had removed when I started shaving as I told the doctor there was a risk I could slice them open with a razor- all 3 were removed without hassle or cost on the NHS. Yes, I had scars, but after five years they have healed up completely.

Hope this helps- you just have to cite a good enough reason WHY you must get them removed (their presence alone isn't enough).

I have had six removed from my face .You can hardly see the scars .I had them removed on the NHS.Because one kept on bleeding So the plastic surgeon took the other five off to be on the safe side.Go and see another GP for a second opinion good luck.
