WHat's in a milk that it gets molds faster than fruits?

well milk is pretty defenseless where as fruits aren't.

Milk is a liquid, sugary, and not very acidic. Perfect conditions for molding. It doesn't have any natural mold retardant built in, as it was designed to be eaten immediately from its source (inside animal). Outside the animal, there is no defenses really.

Fruits however naturally have an acidic quality which slows the growth of molds. Fruits also generally have a protective layer of skin which also protects it.

Also unless your fruit is locally grown, most likely it also has been washed to kill the bacteria, and coated in wax to further protect it from molding/spoiling.

Milk - all they can pretty much do is pasturize it, which kills the original mold & bad stuff in it, but exposure to air allows molds access to growing in that milk again no problem.

lactose its a type of sugar that a lot of people are allergic to and it attracts bacteria people that cant digest it are lactose intolerant and get a kind of mold in there stomachs in less than an hour and have to use the bathroom as in diarrhea
