Professional mold air testing, do the results include what type of mold?

We are going to have our rental home tested for mold, by professionals that are doing air samples. Do these test results include what types of mold or is it just the presence of mold?

It is black in color, which makes me nervous and in the drywall coming through the paint.

they will be able to test what kind of mold and will be able to tell you if it is harmful or not. keep in mind that many types of common household mold don't cause health problems.
