Can mold kill u? |
My husband has been cleaning our basement for two days now. Once he started getting deep into some boxes we had stored he noticed that they were molded and so was the walls. Well today his stomach is tore up and in has a bad headache and a fever also says his sinuses are bothering him.......Im scared cause Ive always heard that mold can kill you and that the symptions to mold are just like the common cold and thats what he has........If there is anyone who knows anything about mold please help ease my mind, cause he thinks hes fine (he thinks its just his sinuses bothering him) and does not want to go to the ER...........No smart comments please!!! The mold itself wont but it can trigger allergic It probably depends on how large the mold is and how long it was there. There are very deadly molds out there and especially on trees outside and have seen a 23yr old dies of this years ago. Molds can cause life threatening allergies and to be honest with you if you think he is having a problem related to a mold.....get him to a dr. or hospital! FYES IT CAN! wear a face mask,i have mold in my house and i'm always cleaning with bleach...it can also get in your nose and cause a person to have to have their face removed!i saw the man on the news and on OPRAH..I COULD'NT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT.he was also on MAURY,when he did a show about disfigured people.a mold spore got in his sinus cavaty and dsctors had to remove his enire face he was speaking thru a mic.in his neck.i hate mold,unfortunately all we can do is keep using bleach,and please people use a surgical mask from the pharmacy or drugstore. |

My best advise to you is to move out!!! Get out of there. It may take as long as 6 weeks or more to rid your system of the effects of the mold. Mold is no laughing matter, especially if you are ... Bess: What your husband needs to understand is that spores can be present even when the mold is not active. Just because he doesn't get sick doesn't mean that someone else will not have... Without being able to see it, it would be really hard to tell what variety of mold it may be. I would recommend checking with your local health department to find out what type of mold it is..... b... yes. my family and myself have been a victim of mold in the household. one time i was having breathing problems. i was taking allergy shots for years. but this mold started creeping up the walls ... Call your local Health Department and ask who to get in touch with to report the black mold problem. They can also give you information as to the risks of living in that type of environment. I beli... find you another job and get out of there ...Mold can be deadly. It loves nice warm wet places, like your lungs. Take lots of pictures and show them to your principal. He has a budget of free money to keep the place clean and safe. Chance... Yes, you can get sick. It happened to my daughter. Get a spray bottle, put bleach in it and spray all the areas you think have mold. Keep well ventilated while doing this, wear a good face mask... |
