Black mold and chronic headaches??

Recently, in April I was diagnosed with chronic headaches. I have come to the point where I have researched everything there is to know about stress and headaches. Recently I found a leak in my our bathroom coming from my fiancee parent's bathroom I thought about mold. We have had mold on the ceiling of our bathroom which I have cleaned every week for the last 7 months. Our bathroom has recently started to fall apart also. The tiles started to cave in, and I tell my fiancee and he just says we can't afford it now because of our wedding and his parent's can't afford it because they are not working. I don't know what is the next step to take. Should I confront his parent's about the mold in the house? I bought a home test for mold today and plan to test our apartment tomorrow. I just know the house is going to come up positive. Should I have myself tested first? What test would I have run?? I need help PLEASE!!!!

My best advise to you is to move out!!! Get out of there. It may take as long as 6 weeks or more to rid your system of the effects of the mold. Mold is no laughing matter, especially if you are being effected by it. Life is too short to spend one more minute in pain and risk the other medical conditions often associated with mold exposure (both gastrointestinal and respiratory).

If you move out, and 2 months later, you still have the same symptoms, then either the mold was not effecting you, or you moved into another moldy environment.

Good luck!
