Mitral Valve Prolapse and Birth Control?

Are there any risks involved while taking the Combination pill or the Progestin-only pill if you have mitral valve prolapse? I'm 18, and it's a really mild case of MVP.

Hi, I have MVP as well, and I too took the pill and found no risk what so ever. Btw, you'll outgrow that MVP, in a few years, I'm sure of it.
