what are possible complications that can occur after a miscarriage with my symptoms?my symptons are as follows:heavy bleeding ( a tampon an hour when i normally go like,12 hours) You probably have miscarried but the real problem is that you may have a manipulated cervix and be hemorrhaging. You should get this check right away if you feel that you have miscarriage and that way they can make sure that your cervix is not been compromised too. Don't ignore these symptoms and get to your doctor ASAP. You might have an infection or something going on. Head to urgent care now and get checked. I do nope you normally don't wear a tampon for12 hours as it HAS to be changed at least every 4 hours when you are awake. For now get off the computer and go get checked out. Have you been to a doctor? Make an appointment for tomorrow, if you haven't! It is possible that not all of the "tissue" was expelled, and need a D & C. It is a common problem. A D & C is done on an out-patient basis, and is quite simple. It sure takes care of the bleeding! The other symptoms could be from the lack of blood and iron. Lay down and stay off from your feet as much as possible, until you see a doctor. Do NOT take aspirin, but take Tylenol. Sounds like either miscarriage (I had one) or a really evil infection. Possibly both, that can occur! Best bet-- get to urgent care now. Do not delay, because you do not want to risk it getting worse. If it's a false alarm, great. Hope it is. But don't you dare take the chance! I hope that by now you have seen a doctor regarding your symptoms. I'm so very sorry about your loss. This is definitely something that needs to be looked into.
