Advice on miscarriage? missed miscarriage?

i had a miscarriage at the weekend, but there are some small complications. i was wondering if anyone could tell me what is going on. My womb is tilted so when they did the scan they couldn't see exactly what's going on, they could just see that something was still inside, although not big enough to be a 10 week old pregnancy (I was 10 weeks when i miscarried). They are taking my blood every other day, and I have raised pregnancy levels. When I miscarried it was incredibly painful, and i am still getting pains, also some pain in my shoulder, and dizziness. the blood is showing anaemia too.

My notes say that i have, pregnancy hormone of 181.1, bulky rlu uterus, thick ET, 11.6mm RPX's.

I have been given this card to carry around saying that i might have an Ectopic pregnancy, and that i should keep it with me at all times. if i get worse to go to the ER. They said i should if i have pains in my shoulder, which i already have. what else could it be? just that the miscarriage isnt done?

I'm praying for you!

Understanding miscarriage
Miscarriage is heartbreaking. It might help to understand possible causes and treatment options, as well as what to expect for the future.
Miscarriage is a relatively common experience 鈥?but that doesn't make it any easier. Ending a pregnancy without a baby to hold in your arms is heartbreaking. Take a step toward emotional healing by understanding what can cause a miscarriage, what increases the risk and what medical care might be needed.

What is a miscarriage?
Miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy without obvious cause before the 20th week. About 15 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). But the actual number is probably much higher because many miscarriages occur so early in pregnancy that a woman doesn't even know she's pregnant.
Most miscarriages occur before the 12th week of pregnancy.

Signs and symptoms include:
路Vaginal spotting or bleeding
路Pain or cramping in your abdomen or lower back
路Fluid or tissue passing from your vagina
Keep in mind that spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy is fairly common. In most cases, women who experience light bleeding in the first trimester go on to have successful pregnancies. Sometimes even heavier bleeding doesn't result in miscarriage.

Go to the ER. Say your pain is a 10. Theres a pain scale 1-10. They will be forced to do something. Sorry, so sorry about your loss.

After I had my miss carriage I was booked in for a D and C
(I'm sorry I don't know what its called) as the whole foetus had not completely came out. They had to put me out using a local and scape the rest of the fetus out. I was home the same day. I also had a suspected eptopic pregnancy as the pain was agonising. Though it was never comfirmed. Im sorry that you went through this.

go to hospital as soonest, and if they don't take your condition as serious as it should then make it a big deal and say loudly that you will complain about the hospital and the nurses to newspapers and tv!!! you should do something about this pain....

good luck and sorry for your loss, it happened to me last November...

The same thing happen to me! They keep checking your hormones to make sure the numbers are not going up. They told me they didn't know if I lost it or if it was a tube pregnancy. It is painful. What your body is doing is rejected something from inside you and is trying to get rid of anything it thinks is foreign. I'm so sorry about your loss! They may want to do a D and C on you depending on how far along you were. If it was only 181 you might have been 6-8 weeks. A, D and C only takes about 15 mins(I'm a surg tech and have done these before). I know you have probley been crying and it will take some time to get over your loss. If you wree trying to get preg you should be able to again in a few months. I got preg 9 mo after I lost my first one. I wish you the best of luck and I know you do not know me but you need a HUG! >HUG<
