After effects of miscarriage...is this normal??

I had a miscarriage about 6 weeks ago( it was my first pregnancy), and i've always had abnormal periods, but since my miscarriage i've had 3 periods, all of which have been extremely heavy and lasting 7 days each.
Im getting an extreme amount of cramping and alot of clots. As well as some of this mucus-y stuff that came out when i had the miscarriage.

I still feel pregnant...is that normal?
I was 11 weeks along when it happened, and i had my period the entire time i was pregnant as well...would that have anything to do with it???

hey hun did you go the doctors, when u misscarred? if you are soaking a pad in with 1hr then you really need to be seen at the ER. If the clots are bigger then a golf size I would call advice nurse........................

What happens after a miscarriage?
Whether you miscarry on your own or have the tissue removed, you'll have mild menstrual-like cramps afterward for up to a day or so and light bleeding for a week or two. Use pads instead of tampons and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for the cramps. Avoid sex, swimming, douching, and using vaginal medications for at least a week or two and until your bleeding stops.

If you begin to bleed heavily (soaking a sanitary pad in an hour), have any signs of infection (such as fever, achiness, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge), or feel excessive pain, call your practitioner immediately or go to the emergency room. If your bleeding is heavy and you begin to feel weak, dizzy, or lightheaded, you may be going into shock. In this case, call 911 right away 鈥?don't wait to hear from your caregiver, and don't drive yourself to the ER. e nurse.

i hope this helps

Have you been to the doc to make sure your levels are going down? That really sounds like something is retained..You may need to go in, have a u/s and possibly a d&c..It is a ask the doc kind of situation though for sure!

I hope you went to the doctor to verify that you had a miscarraige...11 weeks is pretty far in to a pregnancy to miscarry and not have to have a d&c. You should probably go get checked whether you went 6 weeks ago or not...If you are bleeding like that currently, I recommend going in to the ER tonight.

"gee, i was kind of hoping that you were single !!!! i'm not a doctor but my guess is maybe you should get a pregnancy test kit from a drugstore or see your doctor pretty soon ? well goodluck from Alan Tiger . "
