Did i just have a mini-stroke??? |
Im an occasional smoker (cigarettes and weed) <-- for background info. So today i was talking with my cousin and as i was talkin my brain started to feel like it was being tickled and i started to forget what i was saying and my tongue felt heavy. And then i started to feel like i was like, not in my body anymore, like i felt as if i was watching myself and i had no control. And i just stopped talking and my face started to tingle. And my cousin just sat there and was like "what the **** are you doing" and then it all went away. What happend??? Well, assuming you were already smoking weed when this happened, it might have been a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA, or "mini-stroke"). Because of your history, it would be worth seeing your doctor about, as these TIA's can start to happen more frequently and eventually lead up to a major stroke. Sounds like a TIA (transient ischemic attack). My husband had one about a month ago and he's still pretty shaken by it. Go see your doctor and have the tests done to make sure everything's okay. Yes, it could have been a mini stroke...a TIA; but it also could be a form of siezure...weed can trigger those in people...go to a doctor! IF a mini-stroke, there are medications you should be put on to minimize future episodes. |
