Can cervical spondylitis cause syncopal attack, transient ischemic attack or mini stroke? |
Can cervical spondylitis cause syncopal attack, transient ischemic attack or mini stroke? I do not believe that spondylitis could cause a TIA. If the pain is severe enough it could lead to a syncopal episode. But I think that would be rare.Because spondylitis is the chronic degeneration of the vertebrae and disks it has nothing to do with your brain becoming hypoxic causing a CVA or TIA. However, if you experience numbness in your arms or legs, consult w/ your doc. O btw, you might alrighty know this but cervical spondylitis is also called cervical osteoarthritis. what???????????????? Speak English You may get pain, not the attack. Go for physiotherpay first for the spondylosis. |
