MRI and Stroke?

My mom had an MRI a little while ago. Then when the results came back they told her nothing but made her an appointment with the stroke clinic. She asked the doctor if there was something wrong and he said no then said yes but didn't give her any details he just told her to prepare to stay at the hospital. She does have cerbral palsy so she may have had a mini stroke and not even know because basically the whole right side of her body is slightly paralyzed anyway. Anyone have any ideas what might be happening?

My mom is 54 and supposively has lived a longer then most people with cerbral palsy (it is quite a mild case) She also does have a slight heart murmur.

Sorry to hear about that, the Dr may have seen something on the MRI that indicates she is a good canidate for a stroke, don't worry i am sure that the Specialist know what they are doing, don't worry she will be ok.The DR's will take care of her, but you need to go with her and write down alot of questions and you can ask the DR.
