Milk allergy and toddler doesn't like soy milk?

We are exploring the possibility of our daughter being allergic to milk. But she will not drink the soy milk. We bought her a really tasty kind plus another kind and she won't drink either. What is it in milk that she needs? Just the vitamins and calories? Should we just give her more food (she's been eating more anyhow) that is healthy like apples and stuff? She also gets a mulivitamin everyday. Is it ok that she won't drink the soy? She's really into her water right now.

It is a milk protein allergy, so lactose free milk will not work, nor will goat's milk.

If she really doesn't like it, I wouldn't force it on her as long as she's not replacing it with sugary drinks instead. Since you said she's really into water right now, and you're giving her a multi-vitamin, she should be okay. Try again in a couple of months.

try some ovaltine in her milk my toddler hates milk but with olvaltine she gobbles it right down

Give her Goats Milk. 8)

you could try rice milk or goats milk instead as my son is also allergic to milk although he will drink the soya or you mcould try a scoop of nesquick milkshake powder in the soya to make it taste nicer for her

Try Lactaid instead of Soy milk. Lactaid is lactose free and it tastes more like cow's milk than soy does. My 2 year old daughter is allergic to milk and it took a little while to find something she would drink that I didn't have to add chocolate to. I've also tried all of the lactose free products out there and Lactaid tastes the best.
