Migraine???? |
I suffer a lot from Migraines. And i have been having them for a long time know. I have visited a lot of doctors...and they all said the samething..." try to avoid the triggerers of Migraine". Migraines can be set off by triggers. The best way to minimise your migraine is to keep a headache diary. Keep a log of what you ate before you got a migrane. Maybe you will see a pattern. I've only had one migraine in my life and that was enough. Feel sorry for you. Just ask the doctor what some triggers are I get migraines and they suck! I know my triggers but sometimes still get them. Easy triggers for me are caffeine ( I don't drink any and when someone messes up and gives me caff coffee instead of decaf, I get one within the hour), strong smells (those people that wear bottles of perfume are going to be the death of me), birth control pills/PMS week, overhead florescent lights and not wearing my glasses. Have you ever tried vitamin B-2 you can buy it at vitamin cottage and places like that. I used to get such bad migranes under floresent lights but ever since I have been taking the vitamin I haven't had one. Mine were so bad I would throw up. I have had a history of horrible migraines. I started seeing an acupuncturist for weekly treatments since October. I haven't had a migraine in almost 3 months. If I do get a "breakthrough" one, I simply go for an extra treatment and it is almost instantly gone. I have only had a breakthrough one when I missed a weekly appointment. Try to find an acupuncture clinic that offers a "sliding scale" for cheaper price, health insurance usually give a 35% discount, as well. |
