Migraine??

I get migraines alot and Ive even had a ct scan when I was younger - about 10 years ago so I dont really remember it but I was younger about 16, anyway. I have smoked weed ofr the past 8-9 years and I only seem to get them when I haven't smoked in about a week. Do you think anything is signifigant here or am I just crazy

While it would be easy to say the you have a migraine due to your pot smoking habit, however.....weed has been studied as a treatment for migraines.

So while your pot smoking may be helping the migraines, my advice would be to lay off the weed a bit and get migraine medicine.

Medications for Prevention
The Food and Drug Administration has approved four drugs for prevention of migraine:

Propanolol (Inderal)
Timolol (Blacadrene)
Divalproex sodium (Depakote)
Topiramate (Topamax)

ps...ex girldfriend of mine noticed the same thing as you....migraine prescription helped her.

Marijuana dependency. You're going through withdrawal from your brain not used to enough endorphins running through your blood. my advice would be to HONESTLY, NOT LYING TO YOURSELF, keep smoking, but cut about a centimeter off your joint every week, and they should start to go away. After you get to the end PLEASE STOP. It can kill you, and if it doesn't kill you, when you are old and gray, you WILL regret it.

I get them all the time. As a matter of fact I have one now that's is starting to lighten up a little. I also smoke, but when I go with out, it doesn't bother me. But, everyone is different.

Migraines is a reduction in the secretion of serotonin and second there is an increase in histamine secretion.

Guilt, resulting from conflict in your life in conjunction with fear is the root cause and must be dealt with.

it's not the conflict itself that you're having that triggers the migraine. It's the conflict that you have with yourself over the conflict that triggers the migraine, either real or imagined.

All migraines are rooted in guilt. Out of guilt comes fear, and it is always in that order. It's guilt first and then fear.

You may have guilt because you spent too much money on something and you got in a little argument with your wife or mother or whoever over how much you spent. The argument is not the problem. It's the guilt that you have with yourself that produces the migraine.

When you have God's peace, you can face guilt and conflict and fear.

Smoking can create H/A, BUT NO SMOKING CAN'T.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.
