Migraine?!?

I've had a bad migraine ever since I woke up this morning, and it's gradually just getting worse. I've tried taking painkillers but nothing has helped. What can I do? I'm becoming DESPERATE for relief. I've tried to lay down and rest, thinking maybe it'd help, but it didn't. Please, please, somebody give me some advice.

The fastest and safest way to get rid of headache or migraines is acupressure, a form of acupuncture without needles, -- (Shiatsu) quick and effective. Migraines take only about 5 minutes to get rid of.

You can do it anywhere and can learn how to do it easily - just search for Instant Migraine Treatment with Shiatsu and you get great resources.

Since I learn best by "seeing", not reading, try this: http://www.migraineandheadache.com/
for a video instructor, and video treatments.

When you take pain relievers on a regular basis for more than two or three days each week, they can make the pain receptors more sensitive than usual. This means when the pain medicine wears off, these hyper-sensitive receptors turn on to produce a new headache. You're then going down the slippery slope of more pain medicines followed by more headaches and migraines. To stop this vicious cycle you have to stop the medicine which means you're going to go through a severe and painful detox that will last for about three days.

Since even medicine like aspirin and Tylenol type substances can trigger the rebound effect, Dr. Fred Shiftily, the director and founder of The New England Center for Headache, believes the situation to be so serious that he thinks there should be labels on these and other drugs warning of the rebound effect.

So for an effective natural treatment, ...Shiatsu works FAST, and you can learn it yourself, without recurring drug costs and complications. For a video demo you can go here:

There is a new development in migraine therapy:

I am 15 years old and have migraines throughout my whole life. If I have learned anything is that you have to learn when you are getting a migraine. I for example get blurry vision and occasionally numbness in my hand etc. If you experience anything like that immediately take ibuprofen. Although I have become immune to pain killers. If you did not manage to take pills, then there is nothing you can do. I recommend that you lie down in a quite room with the blinds shut and sleep. Sleep is the only thing that cures it completely.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

If you have never been "officially" diagnosed with migraines, you should pay your doctor a visit to make sure that it a migraine and not something else, especially if this is the first time you've had a headache like this, or if this is the worst it's been. That said, I've been suffering from these painful headaches from my early teen years and on. Try to stay away from light, smells (good or bad) and noise. I find that using a cold pack to the side of my head that hurts the most sometimes helps, and also laying on my back with my arm across my eyes. (I know that sounds goofy, but it helps, maybe it's a combination of blocking out the light completely and pressure points?) Again, I would highly recommend a trip to the doctor. They have many drugs that can be take at the onset of a headache or every day to ward them off. A good doctor should be able to find the treatment plan that will work for you. Good Luck
