Mirdin - migraine headache question?

I've had a migraine for about 5 days now. Usually excedrin migraine will knock it out but it's done nothing for me.

I called my OB/GYN and told the nurse that a few years ago I took Midrin for my migraines so they called it in for me.

I was just browsing the web about Midrin and read that you are suppose to take it as soon as you feel the migraine coming on. Well mine started 5 days ago. So will this work for me?

I remember years ago when I had my first migraine I went to the dr and I was given this. It helped me and by morning time it was gone.

But since this one has hung around so long I'm scared it won't work. I felt better this morning but as soon as I walked into the kitchen and into sun light BOOM my migraine hit me full blast again sending me rushing to the restroom almost throwing up.

I used to take Midrin also, but it didn't work as well as some other meds, so I do not take it anymore. And yes, it is more effective if you take it at the first sign of a migraine, but if you take it now, it should still help, just may take a little while longer to kick in.

It is nice to have something to reduce the symptoms but eventually you are going to have to recognize the cause and have it treated. As you are finding out, there are several of the cranial nerves involved. #one is the optic nerve, the nausea is involving the 10th cranial nerve or the vegus nerve.. there are others involved also but those seem to be the primary ones of the moment.

You are suffering from a chronic inflammatory process which can be detected at the base of the skull. When you apply pressure there, you will become quite aware of the degree of the inflammatory process. This chronic condition becomes acute at intervals. Due to the increasing inflammation. It will subside when there is a counter action to that inflammatory process.

It may be advisable to seek the care of a doctor of Chiropractic. Then treat it when it is quiescent, rather than when it is active. It is not unusual for there to be results with one treatment.. but most need to have several as there is a postural factor that is also involved. Is why you have one shoulder lower than the other. The same thing with the hips. The crux of this deficiency is the torsion that is applied to the skull. Greater degree of tightness on one side, causing the torsion to occur. Resulting in the chronic inflammatory process being allowed to continue .

Drug have probably made your liver yielding excess bile which is the cause of your H/A and attack in sun light(liver is related to eyes and the Ball Bladder meridian flows from eyes and over head).

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, lack of sleep(sound sleep), TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.
