Daily Migraine and headaches, taking cymbalta & Aciphex, Can i take tylenol pm?

Hello,

I have had migraines since the age of 7 i was given motrin at 7 and became allergic to aspirin by 11. Now im an adult and suffer daily from migraines every day. I have gone to the doctor, and he told me to take Cymbalta for my migraines, and Aciphex for my reflux.

He told me that i have a depression, but i told him that i think i had a head trauma. My mother used to beat me up in the head around age 8 and kept doing so until i grew up a little bit. He kept insisting is migraines. But every time that im hungry or starved i get migraines, once i eat i feel better. If i slightly bump my head into anything or if i accidently mildly hit my head i get a horrible migraine instantly. When im too hot, the heat causes my migraines to be worse. As i speak i have one, sadly i've gotten used to it because i've lived with it my entire life. I have an appointment to see a neurologist, in 2 months or so. Can i take Cymbalta, Aciphex and tylenol pms?

Please let me know

Cymbalta is an anti-depressant, not for your migraines...switch dr.'s before you stop taking it..stopping rapidly can cause major problems...but, if you don't think your depressed...you shouldn't be taking it....also...your headaches don't sound like migraines, but, possibly cluster headaches, tension headaches, or a side effect of meds...check with a dr. before you take the tylenol, or call the pharmacy....then switch dr.s and make sure he checks your blood sugar with a fasting test...low blood sugar could fit your headache symptoms, my sister had these for years...Good luck!

Yes, you can take these all these together without a drug interaction. Cymbalta for your migaines..?? You should definately see the neurologist and inquire about triptans and topamax....I have seen much better results with these drugs for migraines.

Ask your pharmacist. They're trained professionals who have to know about such questions.
