Have you heard of? |
HAVE YOU GUYS HEARD OF MRSA. IT IS A VERY BAD STAFF INFECTION. METHICILLIN RESISTANT STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS. IT IS A DEAL AND IT IS KILLING PEOPLE. IT STARTS OUT LIKE A BOIL OR EVEN A PIMPLE. THEN GETS VERY LARGE VERY FAST. IT GETS IN YOUR BLOOD STREAM. MY FATHER IS IN THE HOSPITAL AND HAVING SURGERY IN THE MORNING FOR IT. AS A NURSE I HAVE SEEN ABOUT 10 PATIENTS THIS MONTH ALONE WITH IT. IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING THAT SOUNDS LIKE THIS GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP. I think the whole world has heard of this bug quite a few years ago...you just show how much of a liar you are by stating that. Are you looking for sympathy or attention? There's a term for that used by many psychiatrists, y'know...tut, tut, tut. Ha ha! Sure...sure you are...starts with a boil you say...?...ok-aay.... nope Really? I never heard of it. I hope your father gets better. Bye.. no idea i don't have one but thanks! Yes, I've not only heard about MRSA but I've worked with patients that have in a wound, blood, and even sputum. It's important to protect yourself by gloving and masking, and washing your hands. I had a huge boil come up recently..but it was weird as..like there was a hole in it...it left a nasty *** scar. Was about the size of a quarter. wow its like every day a new thing comes up oh and i hope your father gets better Yes, a man who lives here had it. He lost both legs and one arm, but they finally got it under control. He is in rehab now and doing well. Not sure if it was the same thing but my sister in law got put in the hospital over a staff infection that put her in toxic shock. Doctor said if she would have waited even 24 hours more she could have died from it. Very serious stuff! hi dear .....dnt worry abt taht .......even its dreadly at peak stages .kkkkkkk Feel bad about your father , wish him to get better, and yeah I never heard about it See this recent thread, and you don't sound like any RN I've ever met. MRSA is common and has been around for ages. If you were a nurse you would have studied it in nursing school and this would not be such a great discovery to you that would require the use of all caps. yes- I've heard of it-- alot of people getting tattoos are getting it- it is a flesh eating bacterial infection that there is no cure for-- punch it into your yahoo search engine and click images--GNARLY!! I'll pray for your father. I'm sorry. Dude, are you sure you are a nurse? This is a "Nosocomial" infection (hospital induced). It is reported that many hospitals harbor this resistant infection. Whoa there if you are a nurse, which I highly doubt, you are giving medical advise falsely without a license. That is grounds for loss of license! Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a specific strain of the "Staphylococcus aureus" bacterium that has developed antibiotic resistance to all penicillins, including methicillin and other narrow-spectrum 尾-lactamase-resistant penicillin antibiotics.[1] MRSA was first discovered in the UK in 1961 and is now widespread, particularly in the hospital setting where it is commonly termed a superbug. i don't think you need to worry about that. patients who are diagnosed with it are isolated and health care providers take extra precautions when dealing with them. sounds deadly, well it is but doesn't mean there's no cure for it. (there is -- it's vancomycin IV) yeah...i agree with anything you just said... cybill hasn't heard of it, neither has paula or mary or kate or jennifer or allison or judy or bianca or reba or katherine or fiona or janice or kaitlyn or me. Are you sure you are a RN? Just about every pt. we deal with has MRSA. IT starts as an infection... it can appear as a pimple or boil... or come up in your urine or sputum.... I will agree it is very bad. Your dad needs some vanc. |
