im watching a documentary just now and thats what its about but it doesnt specify exactly what it is anyone know?

Methamphetamine is a powerful stimulant that activates certain systems in the brain. It is closely related chemically to amphetamine, but the central nervous system effects of methamphetamine are greater. Both drugs have some medical uses, primarily in the treatment of obesity, but their therapeutic use is limited. The central nervous system (CNS) actions that result from taking even small amounts of methamphetamine include increased wakefulness, increased physical activity, decreased appetite, increased respiration, hypethermia, and euphoria. Other CNS effects include irritability, insomnia, confusion, tremors, convulsions, anxiety, paranoia, and aggressiveness. Hyperthermia and convulsions can result in death..{.it was easer to copy paste this then write it out my self}

Speed

You can type that into your search engine and it will tell you, but, as a former addictions employee, it is speed and deadly.

Its another name for crystal meth. Have a look on this, it will tell exactly what it is and everything else you might want to know.

Methamphetamine is a stimulant with effects similar to a combination of supercharged caffiene and antidepressants. When a person first uses meth, they feel energetic, happy and indestructible. The drug mimics the effect of adrenalin and it appears to increase the levels of dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin, which control a person's mood. Meth is extremely addictive because the feelings are so good while the drug is present, but it depletes the brain of the natural chemicals that make you feel good. So, as soon as the drug wears off, the person is miserable for a few days unless they take more meth.

The drug is amazingly potent and riskier than almost any other drug I have seen. People are always using scare tactics to keep people from using drugs, but this one is truly scary. I have had friends that turned in to hopeless addicts within a few weeks of trying meth - really saddening to see their lives ruined.

Methamphetamine (methylamphetamine or desoxyephedrine), popularly shortened to meth, is a psychostimulant drug used primarily for recreational purposes, but also prescribed for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder or narcolepsy under the brand name Desoxyn.

The drug causes euphoria and excitement by acting directly on the brain's reward mechanisms, thus making it prone to abuse and addiction. Methamphetamine rapidly enters the brain and triggers a cascading release of norepinephrine and dopamine (and to a lesser extent, serotonin). Users may become obsessed or perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning, hand-washing or assembling and disassembling objects. Withdrawal is characterized by increased sleeping and eating, and depression-like symptoms, often accompanied by anxiety and drug-craving
