Methadone maintainance, traveling?

I just started Methadone maintenance for my addiction, but I am going away in two weeks. I have to go to the clinic daily to receive my meds. I live in Philly and am going to Florida. How am I going to be able to go on vacation? I found a methadone clinic near my girlfriends house in Florida where I'm staying. Can my clinic up here send paper work down to the clinic in Florida so that they can distribute my meds to me for the week I am away? Or can my clinic supply me with a weeks worth of meds to take with me? Usually the policy is that the patients come to the clinc daily for meds, then the second week they get one take home day, and 3 weeks we get 2 day take homes etc. Please help.

First, good luck kicking your habbit... Opiates can be a ***** (excuse the language) to quit, I know from experience...

I would call the clinic in Florida and just ask them. I bet it won't be a problem.
