Methadone and pregnancy? |
Are there any women in nj area who are pregnant and on methadone? witchy i totally get your anger... the worst about this is the mothers who want to stay on methadone, or who would continue using street drugs, are NOT the ones affected... the moms who are targeted here are the ones who accidentally got pregnant while on pain management or in the end stages of their addiction treatment! They are protecting the people who would abuse their kids and hurting the people who want to protect their kids! Id like to see a link to the propsed law/ a published article about it, I dont believe its true. Do you have any links? I feel that whoever the individual people are that are trying to pass that law should have to pay out of their own pockets the millions of dollars that will be paid by taxpayers for the childs medical expenses and special needs costs. They should also personally have to take care of the child, as I am sure that extra attention must be given for the proper care of a drug-addicted child. |
