Can Metabolic Syndrome be reversed? And if so, how? Here a few of the sites I found for you on the subject. The first one on the search results states reversing metabolic syndrome.... By reducing your carb intake to 10% ( I think this is similar to the South Beach Diet), the Metabloic Syndrome has reversed in a very short time period, like in just a few months. They said the people started with a 10% carb allowance and after the first month they let them up it to about 17%. They did better with the 10%, but the metabolic syndrome was cured remarkably fast! Very promising results. Sorry I don't remember where I read this, I subscribe to about 10 different magazines. It could have been O, or Redbook or another mag, sorry! |
