Your doctor will give you a referral for this. . My family practice physician treats mine. Ask your PCP about refering you to a doc that can treat you if yours can't. A diabetologist or endrocrinologist. I think the two specialities overlap quite a bit and there are several doctors who have both specialities. A referral to a DIetitian would be a good thing too.
