Numbness in foot and toe?

Hi. I am feeling a bit worried about numbness I have been feeling in my big toe and upper part of my foot all day long. I was quite exhausted last night and had fallen asleep in a big chair in my living room and slept there for about 5 hours. When I woke up, I felt this numbness. I thought that it was just from the pressure on my nerves in my legs from sitting in the chair for so long and thought the numbness would go away. It isn't as bad as it was this morning, but it's about 18 hours later, and it still feels strange. I should mention that I have been diagnosed with metabolic syndrome and am therefore considered to be pre-diabetic and I am also quite overweight, so I am very worried about circulation problems. Does anyone have any information they could provide me with about this? Do I need to see a dr right away or should I just wait and see how it is over the next few days maybe? Thanks.

See a doctor and tell him/her about your problem. If you are considered overweight and always experience numbness in your feet, you could consult your doctor about doing some gentle exercises, e.g. talking a walk on the lawn. Don't try reflextology unless you are assured by your doctor that it is ok. Walking on the lawn is ok as long as the lawn is clean and have not pricking stones, the soil and the contour formed by the grass will ease the nerves and acupoints on your feet.

Importantly...see the doctor first, nothing is more important than your health.

just put a tumb size stone into the midle of your tumb in the feet
