I would like to find out more about mesothelioma. What is the best mesothelioma resource on the internet? Wow, what a nasty cancer. My mother had Mesothelioma in 1994. Almost 80% of those who have contracted it did so via exposure to asbestos and environmental carcinogens. Sadly, from what I remember, this cancer portrays no symptoms to the afflicted until it has metastasized. By then it has spread to surrounding organs. Usually someone has this disease for about 10 to 30 years before they develop any issues or symptoms (shortness of breath, etc). There has been more research and treatment attempts since more and more people are finding out that they have this cancer. Check out the link below. It will answer a lot of your questions. Good Luck |
