Why isn't there a ban on fiber glass??...It can cause (cancer) mesothelioma in animals?? For full details of causes and other information about mesothelioma click below I feel that it isn't banned because although it may pose a health threat to animals like you mentioned the advantages of fibre glass outweigh the disadvantages. Also I doubt that it is of any threat to us humans. |

I have not heard or come across with any patient having Mesothelioma- Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer. In mesothelioma, malignant cells are found in the sac lining of the chest (the pleura... The doctor, I'm assuming, would have track backed his history. If your uncle has been exposed ... try the citizen's advice bureau............xxx ...I didn't check my computer for the answer to this but I have the impression that is is treatable.
