If i had mercury poisioning in my bloodstream then what would i start to feel like.?

What i mean is how long would i have to live and what would i start to feel like, also if someone had a mercury poisioning in their bloodstream and they had a cut on their hand or wrist or what ever and they then touched a railing and got there blood on it and i accedently touched it with a part of my body which had been perviously bleeding but had stopped bleeding then would i get mercury poisioning from them thanks very much please answer i am getting very paranoid and worried also what part of the body would it affect.

You probably are just being paranoid though, so whilst you are on the phone, mention the paranoia too. Doctors can help you get over those thoughts.

Mercury poisoning makes you very tired.I don't know much more than that.If you start getting to the point where you have to nap several times a day,get to the doctor.

Mercury poisoning is from diet not from metal railings regardless of a cut.

If I recall correctly then Mercury poisoning takes a LONG time to occur and when it does it manifests as a kind of madness...

you would not get it from touching someone elses blood as it permanently bonds with theirs....

Also it takes LOTS of mercury....

Mercury poisoning causes mental aberrations, as far as I can recall...
There is a reaction to the chemical supply to the brain which interferes with how the brain operates and deals with things. This is why there was such things as 'Mad Hatters' due to the use of mercury in the felt used to make hats being absorbed through the skin over a long period of time.
I doubt very much if you could contact mercury poisoning through a cut as it is a cumulative illness and takes a long time to build up in the bloodstream.

Mercury is a metal which is unique in that it is liquid at room temprature. It is highly toxic but despite this it is still used by dentists to fill cavities. Anyone who has a "silver" looking filling in their teeth (as opposed to a white or creamy-coloured one) is walking around with a small amount of mercury in their mouth!

There is NO (that's ZERO) chance of you catching mercury poisoning from the blood of someone who already has it - even if by some million to one chance some mercury got into your body that way, there's no way that it would be in sufficient quantity to cause you any harm whatsoever - you would need a massive blood transfusion from an affected person to get anywhere near enough mercury inside you.
